Instagram account worth following: @laurahlp for inspiration on places to visit on the island, food recipes and general tips for Mallorca. Laura's photos have all the Mediterranean vibes and reflection of the Mallorcan lifestyle.

Favorite place to swim: There are so so many swimming spots where I love to go to, but some of my favourites are Playa de Muro, Cala Agulla, Cala Torta and there is another tiny little cala of rocks and beautiful, turquoise water close to my home, where I often go for a quick swim.

A place worth eating at: There are so many fantastic places to eat on the island, but these are my favourites

  • Sa Ximbomba- The best real Napoli pizza on the island and for sure one of the most beautiful dining spots. I’m in love with this truly authentic Italian place where you can choose a table on their terrace and sit under the trees full of fairy lights and watch a nostalgic black and white Italian movie while enjoying your pizza burrata.

  • Sushi N1 in Palma- this is my weekly spot because I love sushi and the quality and choice at this place is one of the best. We always sit at the kitchen counter and watch the chefs making sushi. It’s seriously good and highly recommended.

  • El Aquanauta- a very cool Mexican taqueria with surfers vibes, cool music and tasty margaritas.

  • Mama Carmen- cozy small breakfast place with a vintage style in Palma. It’s a bit pricy but so worth it.

Who is making a product we should know about: If you’re into feminine, sustainable fashion, then you must check out Sunvibes in Palma. All the clothes are designed by Eli, the Italian Founder and Designer at her island studio in Palma where you can also have your personal shopping experience. The clothes are entirely designed and handmade with love on the island, in limited editions and with Italian high sustainable fabrics.

Best month of the year in Mallorca: October, when the tourists have left and the weather is still beautiful and warm.
