Favorite place to swim: Mallorca has many hidden gems in terms of swimming spots. However, I would recommend cala llucalcari, cala s’almunia and es trenc. If you can acces by boat, el torrent de pareis is also magical seen from the water. As a local mallorquin, I recommend you visit any beach or cala first thing in the morning, or during less crowded months.

A place worth eating at:

  • For a village stroll and a date night, Nama in Deia is definitely one of my favourite, as well as, Es taller in Valldemosa.

  • For a hang out with friends, I would go to Patiki Beach after a paddle surf session around Puerto de Soller.

  • For authentic mallorquin cuisine, my all time favourite is Can Mario in Valldemosa.

  • For an organic and healthy brunch after swimming at llucalcari, I would go to S’hortet in Deia and enjoy their quiet and charming garden.

  • And finally, Cafe riutort is my place to go for amazing coffee and toasts spot.

Who is making a product we should know about:

  • @thedressingroom.mallorca. Two months ago, I decided to found it. The only dress rental boutique in Mallorca, specialised in ocassions dresses. We have dresses for weddings guests, graduations and parties. A selected curation of dresses from the best Spanish and international brands. The idea is to make fashion more sustainable, as women tend to use one dress and forget about it once worn. Therefore, my idea is to extend the useful life of clothing by renting them and taking good care of it. Offering an exclusive service, the shop is only under appointment. This way, clients have the shop for themselves for over an hour, while I recommend them outfit options.

  • @ucobakery. Since I discovered them, I have become addicted to their products. Their sordough breads and focacccia are delicious, as well as, their new incorporated chocolate brownie. I love the fact that they use local produce and support local farmers and agricultures. They even started offering sordough bread workshops at their store in Palma.

Best month of the year in Mallorca: I don’t enjoy the heat or the extreme sun, therefore I would discard the summer months. I would say that April-May and September-October are my favourite months. The days are long, the island is quiter and the landscape, trees and light goes magically changing.
